What to expect during your consultation
How long will this take?
You can expect your initial consultation to take about 30 minutes of your time. A phone or Zoom consultation will most likely take about 30 minutes.
Who should attend the initial consultation?
All decision makers for the selection of professionals and services must be present for the consultation. I will ask whether everyone involved in helping you choose an attorney is present.
What personal and family information will you need for a productive consultation?
I will spend the first few minutes of the consultation getting to know you. Reviews of your marital status, financial situation, and your family dynamics play important roles in this assessment, helping us answer legal questions unique to your situation.
Will you answer all my questions during the consultation?
I will try my best to answer your questions; however, some questions may require extensive research, making an immediate answer impossible. The main purpose of the free consultation is for you to decide whether I am the right attorney for you, and for us to assess the unique details of your case. Once you agree to hire me as your attorney, we will formally begin work on the case.
How much will your services cost?
Like a doctor’s visit, I must diagnose the problem before I can prescribe a solution. My office will provide you with the scope and cost of services once we have determined your individual goals and assessed the full extent of your case.
